When a caver registers at convention, the NSS requires the caver list information on any medical conditions. Ancient Caver was an age 72, known cardiac survivor. Had Security Guy taken me to NSS First Aid, the paramedics would not have allowed him to continue the arrest on behalf of the NSS for medical reasons. So SG had to deny NSS First Aid for me. He wanted no record of my injury.

The nurse came on duty at the jail about ten. The bleeding had stopped. Other people needed attention. Personal wounds were never looked at or given care.

On Tuesday of convention a women camped near me had a “med event”. The life squad drove near me to her camper. (They left big ruts behind my camper forcing me to go through the Music Barn.) Complications happen to old people. I could have had a cardiac event during this fiasco or at jail. Would I have been taken care of properly? I kept my Zen after I was thrown out of the campground like a bad dog.

The video shows me with a bloody face at the gate a few yards from first aid. I have been on cave rescues, and when a caver is injured, he is helped. I was not provided any aid for my injury by the NSS I was a canceled undesirable who had committed the most serious crime that anyone could imagine: NAUGHTY WORDS.

What other conditions will deny a caver first aid? Technically, I was arrested by the city policeman after I was ejected from the campground for causing a disturbance while intoxicated. AC got blood all over that youngish girl when he hit her hand with his face. Then AC spread the blood over the Security Guy's fist with a swift head fake. Just because AC used his face as a weapon is no reason to deny First Aid.

This is a serious question because it happened. This is not a hypothetical. Cavers have to get it explicitly into the NSS bylaws that Cavers are entitled to First Aid at events. If not, list why. No reasons come to my mind. We Cavers should handle our own! Cavers cannot depend on the jail to do it.

COP: “What happened to his face?”
SG: “I don't know”

0:15:30:00 TL: “She smacked the shit out of him in front of all of us.”
 COP: “Is that what happened to his nose.”
Tl: “Yeah!”
 According to the sworn testimony of TL that AC was bleeding before SG grabbed AC and did not notice much less go to first aid.
