Tennessee law allows a citizen arrest when someone causes a disturbance while intoxicated. The citizen is responsible for all damage to the arrested person. Getting punched in the face my responsibility because it made a loud noise?

Notice how many times that Security Guy uses the term “ disturbance” without any details. The city policeman uses the term in his report. It seems to be a special code to imply “he deserved it.”

 The NSS seems to be saying that words can be answered by violence. There is a lot of violence in this story. All of it excused. My face shows that some of it was real. This is not how a civilized organization stays healthy.

Remember when Buffalo riot police pushed 75 year old Martin Gugino . Warning: This video contains graphic content. Two officers in Buffalo have been suspended without pay after video circulated online of riot police appearing to push a 75-year-old man during a protest. This video is the NSS version of that.

Senior Bashing

The NSS considers itself “WOKE” to consider an insult to a young girl jailable. But the policeman's girlfriend Tattoo Lady is denigrating me for old age. This is elder bashing and Police Brutality. The NSS has a standard way of handling harassment complaints, but they were ignored. This policy is no country for old men. My harassment complaint was ignored. If the NSS BOG had not received my jail speech, they would have ignored me totally.

There are medical concerns.

Assault

When did the NSS vote to make assault not a crime. Tattoo Lady testifies that Angry Lady slapped me so hard my nose bled. This agrees with what I said in my trip report that I was waiting in the music Barn for NSS Security to report her assault. The NSS Security Guy never talked to me as that would have been the first thing I said to him. Instead he just grabbed me and punched me on orders from his girlfriend, Tattoo Lady.

I was sent to jail on the charge of public intoxication only. At the Howdy Party on Monday the stage announcements ended with the exhortation: “The taps are open, have fun!” When did the NSS vote to make any of this a crime? Or did the Security Guy just decide?

Second Woman

The body cam video only shows one woman, Tattoo Lady. She does not say I did anything to her, but to her friend, the young girl about 22. She admitted that Angry Lady did hit me. Why did she not show up at the gate. She was a bit tipsy when we talked at the music barn. They could not have two people who were Publicly Intoxicated and only arrest one. This whole charade was to cover up her actions and blame the disturbance on me.

NSS Response

The Ancient Caver is CANCELED. The NSS has joined cancel culture. They will not say anything to me to avoid liability and exposure. Their lawyer is the best personal injury attorney in the south. That is how they handled it. Ancient Caver is now canceled. I am a life member, so rage quitting would be moot and childish. Soon I will get a fifty year pin. How can I ever wear it proudly.

I did not know the NSS hires off duty policemen to patrol the convention campground. This is not a good idea. They may have different standards than the NSS. Or girlfriends. Did the NSS BOG decide to arrest cavers or was it a spur of the moment decision by three people.

 I am retired and working on the second decade of a wonderful marriage.
Nothing will unpunch me. Nothing will unjail me.

NSS must stop arresting Cavers.

NSS must give First Aid to Cavers who appear to need it.

NSS should stop hiding embarrassments in closed session.
